ACON Actienbank AG successfully took over the Lead Management for the capital increase of AGRARIUS AG

Munich, January 5, 2011 - In the course of a capital increase with securities prospectus and pre-emptive rights for existing shareholders of AGRARIUS AG, ACON Actienbank AG has successfully acted as Lead Manager and capital arranger. ACON Actienbank AG was responsible for the complete securities management and technical execution services for the transaction.

In detail, services of ACON Actienbank AG comprised the structuring, project planning, coordination, communication with third-party service providers as well as assisting in the preparation of the prospectus. In addition, ACON Actienbank AG in the placement of unsubscribed shares and the preparation of the necessary documents as well as both the organisation of road shows and the securitisation.

In the course of the capital increase, a total of 3.4 m. shares with subscription price of EUR 1.00 were placed at both private and institutional investors. Thus, the company that is focussed on the cultivation of own and leased farm land in Rumania, generated new funds of EUR 3.4m. Such funds will be used for the expansion of the company's farm land in Rumania.
