Dr. Michael Hasenstab is member of the Board of Directors at ACON Actienbank AG and The ACON Group SE. Within ACON Actienbank AG, he is responsible for the Advisory as well as the Equity Capital Markets division.

Dr. Hasenstab is well-versed in the fields of Investment Banking, Corporate Finance and Private Equity. In the course of his previous career, he gained wide practical experience and was responsible for numerous capital market and M&A transactions in Germany and the foreign countries of Europe. Following his studies of Economics at LMU Munich and his graduation in the field of Intercultural Management at Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena, Dr. Hasenstab started his career as an Investment Manager at BNP Paribas in London. Before going into business for hisself and the subsequent  co-foundation of the predecessor company of THE ACON Group SE in 2002, he worked in the Investment Banking division at Credit Suisse First Boston in London and was responsible for numerous capital market and M&A transactions with a volume of more than 500m.

At the same time, Dr. Hasenstab took over a Management Board mandate at Catalis SE, where he has still a function as Non Executive Director.

Dr. Hasenstab has Supervisory Board mandates as well as several Management Board positions at a number of small and medium-sized companies.
